This morning my wife discovered an unauthorized charge to our credit card from Skip the dishes. After a quick google search it appears that it has happened with them before from other people. The funny thing is that we don’t have an account with them nor have ever used their service. Apparently they do not care at all that this happens to people as their payments are processed through a 3rd party service like Stripe. I know this because I have already contacted their customer service and they are unwilling and or unable to do anything to help me.

After a lengthy call to my credit card provider, they said that they should be willing to help me but only after the pending charge clears and actually debits my account. Until then all I can do it wait. I am … Read more
